wonderful read, your image of immersing oneself in the ocean was powerful. it reminded me of a piece of poetry by Christopher Fry that speaks of the task as being the ‘exploration into God’ – such a powerful image – our quest is not to know, but rather be enveloped by this presence… hmmm, i like, as long as i don’t ‘know’!
