I talked last year about the Third Take short film competition which is loosely linked to this project. Jesse Cain is coordinating the competition and has already had a significant amount of interest from churches, universities, etc… It’s pretty exciting. Here are some details:
Engage with culture/faith/yourself in short film.
Third Take Short Film Competition is about making decent films with decent meaning for decent prizes.
Create a short film based on the keyword ‘Searching’, and fit it into one of the subthemes: conceptual – experiential – spiritual – personal. Feel free to use or represent this theme as creatively or differently as you want.
Entries close on friday 29 june.
Winning films, plus a few more, will be premiered at the Third Take Awards Night on Saturday 21 July 2007, at ACMI Cinema in Federation Square, Melbourne. There is also $8000 worth of prizes up for grabs!
